STEWARDS OF HIS GRACE

LEAVES.ORIGINAL.jpg

"As each has received a gift, use it to serve one another as good stewards of God's varied grace."

1 Peter 4:10

Our "verse to live by" at OAK is 1 Peter 4:10. You may have seen it on our tees. We thought for a while, and tossed around different scripture that spoke of being a good steward and of serving others, but this verse summed up all that we are wanting to embody at OAK on a daily basis. You see, we are an eclectic bunch of misfits, with an array of gifts, personalities and hobbies, and yet, for some reason, God saw fit to put us all together in the same place working for one common goal. The only way we can be successful in this pursuit is to keep our eyes on the goal - use OUR gifts to serve OTHERS.

We know that it can be difficult to "connect" with people who you know little about. So, that's why we are creating this new blog, full of "real life" examples, snippets of our lives outside of OAK and some of the best recipes you'll find ANYWHERE on the massive world wide web.

We want to love and serve you, our community and our clients on a daily basis. We want to work together to create a successful business and brighten up people's days little by little. But, most importantly, we want to remain obedient to our callings, have faith that the talents God has given each of us will be used for His glory, and answer the Holy Spirit's calling - day by day by day.

We hope you enjoy the new blog in the months to come.
